How to make Instant Rava Dosa Breakfast Mix
1. Bombay Rava - 1 Cup
2. Rice Flour - 1 Cup
3. All Purpose Flour - 1/2 Cup
4. Salt - 1 Teaspoon
5. Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
This mix could be used for up to 3 months easily.
All these ingredients could be mixed without frying them but, we won't be able to store them for long. To store them longer than 2 months, it is necessary to fry them.
Heat pan and add 1 cup bombay rava. For 1 cup rava, use 1 cup rice flour. These proportions are to be used while making the mix in large quantities. Fry rava for 5 minutes. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup rice flour and fry for 2 minutes on low flame. Add 1/2 cup all purpose flour and mix. Cut off the stove. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon salt or salt to taste and mix. Let the mixture cool down. Store it in an air tight container. This will stay fresh for more than 2 months.

Take 1 cup prepared instant rava dosa mix. Add 1/2 cup curd mixed in water to the rava dosa mix. Add more water if necessary. Make the batter very thin. Thinner the batter, crispier the rava dosa will be.
Plane rava dosa - Heat pan. Pour the prepared batter on it. Spray oil. Cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Flip after it turns brown. Cook on low flame.
Rava dosa with onions - Here I used chopped onions, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped ginger and salt if necessary. Add all these ingredients to the batter and mix. Cook it in the same method as the plane dosa. Spray oil and flip it.
