How to make Matar Paneer Recipe in Telugu

1. Paneer - 1 Cup
2. Green Peas - 1 Cup
3. Onions - 1 Cup
4. Green Chillies - 2
5. Tomato Paste - 1/2 Cup
6. Chilli Powder - 2 Teaspoons
7. Coriander Seeds Powder - 2 Teaspoons
8. Cumin Seeds Powder - 1 Teaspoon
9. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
10. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
11. Garam Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
12. Salt - 2 Teaspoons


Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry. Fry for 5 minutes and add green chillies. Close lid and let onions cook. Fry paneer in the mean time. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a pan. Fry diced paneer pieces. Paneer need not be fried, but it will be tastier if fried. Fry till paneer turns golden brown and move it into a plate. As onions turn transparent, add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and mix. Let it fry for a minute. Add green peas. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Close lid and cook. Add tomato paste. Cook till oil seeps out of tomato paste. Add 2 teaspoons chilli powder, 2 teaspoons coriander seeds powder, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds powder, 2 teaspoon salt and mix. Add 1 cup water, Add fried paneer. Close lid and cook. After gravy thickens, add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder. Cut off the stove and sprinkle coriander leaves. Serve with chepathis or rotis.
