Veg Biryani Recipe | Quick Vegetable Biryani | Restaurant Style Biryani By Hyderabadi Ruchulu

Learn how to make restaurant style Veg Biryani at home with Ms. Indira. Veg Biryani is one of the favorite among the vegetarians.

Recipe Notes

Heat a bowl and add 3 tablespoons of ghee(clarafied butter). Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, shahjeera and fry for a minute. Add diced onions, green chillies and fry. Add carrot and capsicum pieces. Add chopped beans, potato pieces and fry for a minute. Add tomato pieces and fry. Any other vegetables also could be added. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, close the lid and let it boil for sometime. Add 1/2 cup mint leaves, 1/2 cup curry leaves and mix. Add 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste and let it cook. Add 1/2 cup green peas. For 2 cups basmathi rice, add 4 cups of water, close the lid and let the water boil. Add 2 cups cleaned, soaked basmathi rice to the boiling water and let the rice cook. Add corriander leaves and cook on low flame for 2 minutes. Open the lid after 5 minutes.
