Anumulatho Kudumulu - Dolichos /Lablab beans Dumplings

- 1 cup Rice Flour
- 1/4 cup Lablab Beans
- 1 cup Water
- 4-5 Green Chilies (Pasted By Ground)
- 2 tbsp Spring Onions
- 1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- Ingredients for Sauteing
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 2 Green Chili (cut in to Pieces)
- 1 Onions
- 2 shoots Curry Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger and Garlic Paste
- 3 tbsp Green Gram
- 2 tbsp Beans ( Chopped )
Anumulatho Kudumulu Method Of Preparation
Firstly will wash the Lablab bean seeds and soak them overnight prior we cook them.
Now will pressure cook the soaked seeds in cooker for 3 to 4 whistles with some salt .
Then will boil 1 cup water with salt as needed and add 1 teaspoon of green chili paste.
Will also add 1 cup of rice flour mixing it slowly,
Take a mixing bowl ,put the rice flour dough and add the boiled bean seeds and mix them thoroughly.
Now I am adding 2 tablespoons of chopped spring onion to it , which is optional you can skip it.
Then will add 1/4 cup of Coriander Leaves and 1 teaspoon of Cumin seeds to the mixture.
Mix them all thoroughly , with some water on to your palms.
Now will make them into lime sized balls and just press them flat , not completely flat.
place them all in a plate.
Now will steam cook them with 2 glasses of water in cooker /steamer.
Place them all on a steaming plate, grease them with some oil on the top if you wish to.
Boil the water and then place this steaming plate with a lid and let it steam.
Will steam it for 10 to 12 minutes .
After they are steamed for 10 to 12 minutes will cut the dumplings into 4 or 6 pieces.
Then will saute them to add more taste to the dumplings.
Heat a pan with 1 Tablespoon of oil , add 1/2 Teaspoon of Mustard seeds .
Then will add 2 green chilies slit .
Will add 1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin seeds and 1 finely chopped onion.
Let the onions be fried till transparent.
Then will add 2 Tablespoons of chopped beans , cook them for a moment with a lid.
Add soaked 3 Tablespoons Green Gram soaked prior we start cooking the recipe.
Will add 1/2 teaspoon of salt / as needed and mix it properly.
Let it fry for a minute stir them all and add steamed dumpling pieces to this saute.
Mix them all , the dumplings are ready now.
so a healthy and a different breakfast or snack is ready. Kids will enjoy the recipe.
