INGREDIENTS:
1. Bread Slices - 7-8
2. Sugar - 1 Cup
3. Coconut Powder - 1/2 Cup (Optional)
4. Milk - 1 Cup
5. Clarified Butter - 2 Tablespoons
6. Cardamom Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Cut off edges of bread slices. Powder bread slices in a mixie jar. Heat 1 cup milk in a pan. Add powdered bread crumbs. Add 1/2 cup coconut powder (optional), 2 tablespoons ghee and mix. Cut off the stove and mix the dough. If the dough isn't soft enough, 2-3 teaspoons milk could be added. Let it cool down for 10-15 minutes. Prepare sugar syrup in the meantime. To a pan, add 1 cup sugar, 2 cups water and heat it. Mix till the sugar melts. Let the sugar syrup boil. After it starts boiling, put it on low flame for 10 minutes and cut off the stove. Make small round balls out of prepared dough. Put these balls in prepared sugar syrup one by one. Again heat the sugar syrup for 10 minutes with bread balls in it on low flame. Add 1 teaspoon cardamom powder. Garnish with dry fruits.
