INGREDIENTS
1. Ripe Banana - 3
2. Chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon
3. Green Chillies - 3-4
4. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
5. Salt - 1 Teaspoon
6. Lemon Juice - 1 1/2 Tablespoon
7. Bengal Gram - 1 Teaspoon
8. Black Gram - 1 Teaspoon
9. Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
10. Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
11. Curry Leaves - 1/2 Cup
Wash the bananas first
Cut off the ends and dice it
Put them in a cooker and add 1/2 cup water
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon oil and cook for 2 whistles
They could be boiled in a bowl also
Open the lid after cooker cools down
Move them into a plate
Peel the banana and store the peel for later
This peel could be used to make chutney
Grate the boiled banana
To this grated banana, add 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon salt,
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix
Prepare tempering now
Heat 1/2 teaspoon oil in pan
Add 1 teaspoon bengal gram, 1 teaspoon black gram
Fry till they change colour
Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry
Add green chillies and fry
Add curry leaves and fry for a minute
Add prepared banana mixture and mix
Cook on low flame for 5-10 minutes
Add lemon juice, mix and cut off the stove.
Serve with sambar rice!
