Today, let's see how to make coconut groundnut chutney
This is a very easy recipe and tastes great with any breakfast
Lets fry the groundnuts first
Heat pan and fry groundnuts
Fry on medium flame till they change colour and give out a nice smell
Move them into a plat
To the same pan, add 1 teaspoon oil and heat it
Add diced green chillies and fry
Then add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, chopped coconut and cut off the stove
Don't fry the cumin seeds and coconuts for long
To a mixie jar, add the fried groundnuts, green chillies, coconut pieces, garlic cloves, washed tamarind, 1 teaspoon salt, a little water and grind it into a paste
Now move this into a bowl
Lets prepare the tempering now
Tempering is optional
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan
Add 1 teaspoon bengal gram, 1 teaspoon black gram, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry
Then add pieces of 2 dried chillies and fry till they change colour
Add curry leaves, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix
Mix this tempering with the prepares chutney
Serve with any breakfast!
