  • 1 cup Bombay rava
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tbsp Baking soda
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder

  • 1/4 cup Sugar For Glazing

Mango Cake Recipe 

Lets see how to make mango cake without egg, all purpose flour or an oven
Mango cake is very tasty and can be made instantly for occations like birthdays and anniversaries
Firstly, peel and dice the mango into cubes
Now, make a mango puree out of it
To a mixing bowl, add 1 cup bombay rava, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and mix without lumps
Now add 1 cup mango puree, 1 teaspoon cardamom powder. Cardamom powder is 3-4 cardamoms powdered along with 1 teaspoon of sugar
Here I added 1 cup milk slowly and mix
Next add 2 tablespoon melted clarified butter(ghee) or butter or oil and mix
Close lid and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes
Prepare a cake mould now
Any steel or aluminium bowl could be used for this
Spread some clarified butter (ghee) on the base and sides of the bowl so that the cake does not stick to the mould
Then sprinkle some flour and spread it all over the mould
This will prevent the cake from sticking to the bowl
Take a pan with thick base to bake the cake
Any pressure cooker could also be used
Pre-heat the cooker for 10 minutes on medium flame
To the prepared batter add the rest of the milk and mix
Here I used 1 cup milk.
Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder and mix
Cake batter is ready
Pour the batter into the prepared cake mould. Make sure to fill only half of the mould or else the cake will overflow
Place a stand in the pre-heatd pan and put the mould on it
Now, close lid and cook for 30-35 minutes on low medium flame
Lets prepare glazing next
To heated pan, add 1 cup mango puree, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 cup water and cook
Stir and cook on low flame for 10 minutes
Let it cool down and refrigerate for 30 minutes
The cake seems to be ready now
Poke the cake with a tooth pick to see if it has been baked completely
If the tooth pick comes out clean without any batter on it, then the cake is ready
Cut off the stove and let the cake cool down
Seperate the edges with a knife and remove the cake from the base
Flip it onto a plate and flip it again
Spongy cake is ready!
Lets glaze it now
Spread the glaze on the cake and spread your favourite topping on it
Here I used mangoes and cherries
Mango cake is ready to serve!
