Mix Veg Ragi Soup Recipe
Ragi is considered as one of the most nutritious cereals. An Immunity booster and combined with vegetables a super healthy food for all the age groups. Can be made with any veggies of our choice. High fiber content and high protein food helps in weight loss too. So will try a tasty soup with ragi flour and veggies.
- 3 Tbs Ragi Flour Finger Millet Flour
- 1/4 Cup Carrot
- 1/4 Cup Capsicum
- 1/4 Cup Green Peas
- 1/4 Cup Cauliflower
- 1/4 Cup Tomatoes
- 1/4 Cup Onions
- 3 No's Green Chilies
- 3 Cups Water
- 3/4 Tsp Salt Or as needed
- 1/2 Tsp Pepper Powder
- a pinch Ajinomoto Chinese Salt
- 5 to 6 Pods Garlic
- Coriander Leaves Chopped for garnishing
In a pan boil 3 cups of water on medium flame with a lid on it.
Add diced carrots, diced capsicum, green peas, shredded cabbage ¼ cup each.
Then will add chopped cauliflower ¼ cup, 2chopped tomatoes and 2 chopped Onions.
Now, will add 3 chopped 3 green chilies boil the mall for 10 minutes on medium flame with a lid on in.
In a bowl will mix 3 tablespoons of Ragi flour with some water to avoid forming of lumps when we add it to the boiling veggies.
Now will add it the boiling veggies stirring it constantly till we mix it thoroughly to avoid lumps.
Cook it for some more time then will add 5 to 6 chopped garlic pods.
Place a lid and let it cook on low flame for few more minutes.
Now, will add some spring onions too.
And will add ¾ teaspoon of salt or as needed and½ teaspoon of pepper powder.
If you wish to have a Chinese flavor to the soup add a pinch of Chinese salt (Ajinomoto).
Then will squeeze half a lime to it. Put off the flame.
Garnish it with some coriander leaves. Serve Hot, tasty, and super healthy soup.
