- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Curd
- 3 Tablespoons Rice Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Tablespoons Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Chopped Green Chillies
- 1 Teaspoon Chopped Ginger
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
Take 1 cup all purpose flour in a bowl
Add 3 tablespoons rice flour
Add 1 teaspoon salt or salt to taste
Add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon chopped
ginger, 1 teaspoon chopped green chillies and mix
For 1 cup all purpose flour, add 1 cup curd
Add water and mix
The shape of the bajji depends on the consistency of the batter
If the batter is too thin, the bajjis won't be round
Let it sit for 20 minutes at least
Wet your hands and mix the batter
For making the bondas, wet your hands and drop the batter slowly
Heat oil sufficient for deep fry
Wet your hands and drop the batter into the oil
The stove should be on medium flame
Flip after a couple of minutes
Flip and fry till they turn brown
Mysore bajjis are ready now
Serve with favourite chutney or sambar
