Oats Khichdi
Oats Khichdi is an easy recipe that can be cooked without much effort. It is considered to be nutritious and healthy as well as we use Oats, Moong Dal, and Veggies. It tastes great when cooked with Ghee and served hot. A quick fix for Oats Khichdi
- 1 Cup Oats
- 1/4 Cup Green Gram pressure cooked for 2 whistles and use
- 2 No's Tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 Capsicum chopped
- 2 No's Potatoes chopped
- 1 Carrot chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Ghee
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 4 to 5 No's Green Chilies Slit
- 2 Shoots Curry Leaves
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt or as needed
- 3 Cups Water
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper Powder

Switch on the cooker and hold the cooking mode button as the container in it is empty.

When we hold the cooking mode button it gets heated, add 1 Tablespoon of Ghee and heat.

To the melted ghee add 1 Cup of Oats and fry it well stirring it when required and place it in a separate bowl.

Then, add 1 Tablespoon of Oil Electric Cooker.

Now, will add ½ Teaspoon of Cumin Seeds, let splutter.

Add 1 finely chopped Onions and let fry, then add 4 to 5 Green Chilies.

Then, will add 1 chopped Carrot pieces, chopped Potato pieces, Capsicum chopped, and ¼ cup of Green Peas.

Let it cook for some time with a lid on it.

Now, will add tomatoes and cook until soft.

Then, will add 2 shoots of Curry Leaves, ½ A teaspoon of Turmeric Powder.

Add 3 cups of water and let it boil, add 1 ½ A teaspoon of Salt and ¼ Teaspoon of Pepper Powder.

Now, will add fried Oats to the boiling mixture, stirring it occasionally.

Add some more ghee to it, place a lid, and cook it for some more time.

After some time we can see Oats Khichdi is cooked well, and thickened.

Add some Coriander for garnishing and serve hot.
