Pepper Chicken Fry Recipe
In this recipe you can learn how to fry chicken with black pepper easily and quickly.
- 1/2 kg Chicken
- 3 Cardamom
- 3 small pieces Cinnamon Sticks
- 5 Cloves
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Curd
Wash and clean the chicken beforehand.
Pepper powder used could be coarsely ground or finely ground.
Chicken needs to be marinated first.
To a mixing bowl, add washed clean chicken.
Add 1/2 cup curd, 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,
1 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste,
1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds powder,
1/4 teaspoon garam masala, 3 sliced green chillies, 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Let it sit for 1/2 hour at least.
Heat 2 tablespoons clarified butter (ghee).
Clarified butter (ghee), butter or oil could be used.
Add whole garam masala and fry for a minute.
Add marinated chicken and mix.
Close lid and cook on high flame.
Cook till the water seeping out of the chicken boils away.
After the water boils away, stir carefully and cook on low flame.
Cook till the chicken is completely fried
Sprinkle curry leaves, coriander leaves and mix.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
