Potatoes – 2
Green Peas – 1/2 cup
Onions – 1
Green Chillies – 2
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Today we will see how to make simple and tasty potato sandwich recipe
To make this sandwich, we will need bread slices.
We also have to make stuffing
To prepare the stuffing, here I peeled, boiled and grated 2 potatoes.
They can be mashed also
Heat 2 teaspoons oil in pan
Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry
Then add 1 chopped onions and fry till it becomes transparent
Add 2 chopped green chillies and fry
Add boiled green peas. Here capsicum also could be added
Close lid and cook for a minute
Then add grated potatoes and mix
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 pepper powder, 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds powder and mix
Now add chopped coriander leaves and mix
Cut off the stove
Stuffing is ready now, let’s prepare the sandwich
Spread sauce a bread piece. Any sauce could be used instead
On another bread piece, spread clarified butter (ghee) or normal butter
Now, spread prepared stuffing on one slice and cover it with other one
Prepare all the sandwiches like this
These sandwiches could be cooked in a sandwich maker or on a pan
Pre-heat the sandwich maker and place the prepared egg sandwiches in it
Cook them till they turn brown on both sides
Heat 1/2 teaspoon ghee or butter on a pan
Place the prepared sandwich on the pan
Put a small plate on the sandwich and put a weight over it
Cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame
Flip after a couple of minutes
Crispy brown sandwiches are ready to serve!
These sandwiches are great as breakfast or even as a snack item.
