Pudding Recipe | Caramel Egg Pudding

pudding is popular all over India , caramel pudding is delicious dessert recipe , it is easy-to-make pudding recipe by Hyderabadi Ruchulu

  • 250 ml Milk
  • 3-4 tsp Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

Let’s see how to make tasty and fluffy caramel pudding

Take a bowl

Any steel bowl or glass bowl or oven frendly bowls could be used

We need to caramalize the sugar first

Heat pan and put it on low flame

Add 2 tablespoons sugar and stir it on low flame or else it will burn

Stir continuously on low flame till it melts completely and changes colour

Pour this into the bowl that we are gonna use to make the pudding

Spread it along the bowl and put it aside

Break 3 eggs in a mixing bowl and beat them

Add 2 tablespoons sugar and mix

Add 1/4 litre and mix

Also add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix

Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence and mix

Now, pour this mixture into the pudding bowl

This mixture needs to be steamed now

To steam it, a cooker, steamer or a pan could be used

Pour 2 glasses of water in a pan and heat it

Place a stand in the water and place the pudding mixture over it

Similarly, this pudding mixture could be steamed in a pressure cooker without putting a weight over it

Place a lid over the bowl and the pan and steam for 20-25 minutes

Check it once using a tooth pick

If the tooth pick comes out clean,then the pudding is ready

Let the pudding cool down and invert the pudding using a plate

Remove the bowl
Soft pudding is ready to serve!
