Rice cake recipe may be any kind of food item made from rice that has been shaped
- 1 1/2 Cup Rice
- 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs
- Essence
- 1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Cup Milk
Let's see how to make steamed rice cake in pressure cooker
Wash and soak the rice for 2 hours at least
Add the soaked rice to a mixie jar and grind them into a paste
Break 2 eggs in a bowl
Add these to the rice paste along with 1/4 cup sugar and grind them again
Move it into a bowl and add 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix
Stir so that no lumps are formed
Add milk and stir till cake batter consistency is obtained
Add 2-3 drops essence and mix
Add baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice and mix
Spread oil to the bowl, pour the prepared batter and garnish with dry fruits
Lets steam the cake now
To a pressure cooker, add 2 gasses water
Place a stand and put the bowl on it
Close the lid without the whistle (weight)
Put the stove on high flame till there is continuous steam coming out and then
put it on medium fame
Cook for 15 minutes and check the cake
Poke a toothpick and check if the cake is cooked completely, if not, steam for another 5 minutes
Separate the cake from the bowl with a knife and flip it into a plate
Flip it onto another plate
