Saggubiyyam Semiya Payasam Recipe
Relishing Indian Dessert Saggubiyyam Semiya Payasam, not only a feast to our tastebuds but also a treat to our eyes. Its also referred as Sago Vermicelli Kheer
- 1/2 Cup Sago
- 1/2 Cup Vermicelli
- 1 Cup Suagr or as needed
- 1 Tablespoon Cashew Nuts
- 1 Tablespoon Almonds
- 1 Tablespoon Raisins
- 3 Cups Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Ghee
- 3 No's Cardamom Powdered

Firstly will soak ½ cup of sago in water for an hours’ time.

Then will cook it, boil 2 cups of water in a bowl and add sago.

Meanwhile will fry dry fruits.

Heat a pan add 1 tablespoon of ghee, add 1 tablespoon of Cashew nuts and Almonds each.

When they change color will add some Raisins and fry them.

Now will place them aside in a bowl.

In the same pan add 1 more tablespoon of ghee and roast ½ cup of Vermicelli.

Store it in a bowl, in the same pan add 3 cups of milk and boil, water can also be added if required or if you wish to.

Then will check for sago which is cooked now.

Will add this cooked sago in the boiling milk, mix it.

Cook it for 5 to 6 minutes till we get thick consistency.

Now will add 1 cup of sugar or as per your taste.

Cook for 2 more minutes, add cardamom powder, and dry fruits.

Put off the stove garnish it more dry fruits of your choice.

Dish it out serve it hot, yummy Relishing desert.
