Veg Biryani Recipe
Vegetable Biryani a simple and easy recipe. A tasty and delicious dish can be made instantly at home. Everyone would definitely relish it, a healthy one too with loads of veggies in it. A perfect meal for the entire family, which can be made instantly.
- 2 Cups Basmati Rice washed and soaked 1/2 prior we cook
- 2 Tablespoons Ghee
- 1 Teaspoon Caraway Seeds
- 3 Numbers Bay Leaves
- 2 to 3 Numbers Cinnamon Pieces
- 3 Numbers Cardamom
- 4 Numbers Cloves
- 2 Numbers Onions Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Carrots
- 1/2 Cup Beans
- 4 to 5 Numbers Green Chilies Slit
- 1/2 Cup Green Peas
- 1/4 Cup Mint Leaves
- 1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Psaste
- 4 Cups Water
- 1 Teaspoon Salt or as needed
Prior we start cooking Our Vegetable Biryani, take 2 cups of Basmati Rice and soak it for ½ hour.
In a pressure cooker add 2 tablespoons of Ghee, Oil can also be used.
Now, to the Ghee add 1 teaspoon of Caraway Seeds, 3 Cardamoms, and 3 Bay Leaves.
Then add 2 to 3 Cinnamon pieces and 4 Cloves to it fries them all for 30 seconds.
Then, will add 2 Onions chopped fry it for 2 to 3 Minutes.
Now, will add ½ cup Carrot pieces and 1 Potato Diced, Mix, and cook it with a lid for 2 Minutes on Medium Flame.
Add ½ cup of Beans, 4 to 5 Green Chilies, and ½ a cup of Green Peas mix them all and cook for 2 to3 more Minutes with a lid.
Then, will add ¼ cup Mint Leaves (Chopped) and ¼ cup Coriander Leaves(Chopped).
Now, will add 1 teaspoon of Ginger Garlic paste and cook it for a while.
Drain off the water from the soaked Basmati Rice and add it to the cooker.
Mix them all once.
Add 4 cups of water to it. Water quantity should be 1:2 ratio.
Now, will add ½ teaspoon of Salt or as needed.
Place the lid and pressure cook it till 3 whistles and put off the flame
Letit release the pressure and cool down and then open the lid.
Our tasty, simple and delicious Vegetable Biryani is ready. Can be prepared instantly and easily.
