Fish Curry

Fish curry recipe – Simple, delicious & flavorful Indian fish curry in a onion tomato base.

Heat a pan and add 3 tablespoons of oil. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, diced onion and fry till brown. Add 3 green chillies. Add curry leaves. Add 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix. Add chopped tomatoes and mix. Close the lid and let it cook. Add 2 teaspoons chilli powder, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder. For more gravy add 2 teaspoons cocunut powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds powder, 1/4 teaspoon garam-masala and mix. Add the cleaned fish pieces and mix carefuly. Close the lid and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Open the lid and mix it. Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Sprinkle coriander and shake the cooking pan as shown. Close the lid and cut off the stove after 2 minutes.
