This chutney can be made in 5 minutes.
To a mixie jar, add onions, tomatoes, dried chillies, tamrind, 1 teaspoon salt and grind it into a paste.
Let's prepare tempering
Heat 1 1/2 teaspoon oil in pan
Add 1 teaspoon bengal gram, 1 teaspoon black gram, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry.
Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, prepared onion-tomato paste and mix
Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Red chutney is ready to serve.
Serve with dosa or idly.
