Ingredients

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 pcs Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Capsicum
  • 1/2 cup Grated Carrot
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onions
  • 3 pcs Green Chillies
  • 5 pcs Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves

Crepes are nothing but thin pancakes

Let’s see how to make basic crepes first

These crepes could be made with or without eggs

Plain Crepes

Add 1 cup all purpose flour to a mixing bowl
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar and mix
Add 2 eggs, 1 cup milk and beat it
Add 2 tablespoons melted butter and mix
Add essence as desired and mix
The batter has to have a very loose consistency
Add water if the batter seems thick
Let it sit for 10 minutes
Let’s make the pancakes now
Heat a non-stick pan
Spread butter on it
Move the pan away from the pan for 2 seconds and pour batter
Spread it and put the pan on flame again
Flip it after a minute
Serve it after a minute
Serve it with desired filling, jam or honey
Spread honey on it and sprinkle sugar powder on it

Banana Crepes

Dice the banana
Spread nutella on one side of the crepe
Any jam also could be used
Place the banana pieces on top and roll it
Cut into pieces of desired size and serve

Chocolate Crepes

To the basic crepes batter, add 1 tablespoon cocoa powder and mix
Add 1 tablespoon sugar powder and mix
Make a thin batter
Let it sit for 10 minutes
Let’s make the pancakes now
Heat a non-stick pan
Spread butter on it
Move the pan away from the pan for 2 seconds and pour batter
Spread it
Flip it
Move it into a plate after a minute

There crepes could be prepared once and used after 2-3 days

Spread chocolate sauce or nutella over it
Roll it or fold it and cut it into pieces
Sprinkle sugar powder on it and serve

Vegetable Crepes

Add 1 cup all purpose flour to a mixing bowl
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix
Add 2 eggs, 1 cup milk and mix
Mix so that no lumps are formed
Add 2 tablespoons butter and mix
Add coriander leaves and mix
Let it sit for 10 minutes

Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan
Add chopped garlic cloves and fry
Add onions and fry for a minute
Add chopped green chillies, chopped capsicum, grated capsicum and cook for 10 minutes
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix
Add salt, 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds powder and mix
Add chilli sauce and mix
Add lemon juice and cut of the stove
Filling is ready now

Let’s prepare pancakes
Heat a non-stick pan
Spread butter on it
Move the pan away from the pan for 2 seconds and pour batter
Spread it and cook for a minute
Flip it
Move it into a plate after a minute
Prepare as many as desired
To a bowl, add 1 tablespoon corn flour, add water and mix it into a loose paste
Put 1 tablespoon of prepared filling on a crepe
Fold it and spread the corn flour mixture
Do the same on the other side
Let’s shallow fry them
Heat 1 tablespoon oil
Place the crepes and fry for a minute
Flip and fry till they turn golden brown
Serve hot
