Today let's see how to make a tasty dessert - sweet poha

Sweet poha is a healthy snack item
This dish is also great choice as an offering to god
Here I took 2 cups flattened rice.
We will aslo need 1 cup grated coconut and 1 cup grated jaggery
For the poha we will also need cardamom powder, 2-3 teaspoons fried sesame seeds and dry fruits like cashewnuts, raisins
Frying the dry fruits in clarified butter will give a nice flavor
Firstly, to a mixing bowl, add 1 cup coconut powder and 1 cup jaggery
See to it that there are no lumps in grated jaggery
Use only fresh grated coconut
Fresh coconut has moisture in it that will help the jaggery melt when mixed tigether
Mix by hand and let it sit for 20-30 minutes
We can see that the jaggery has melted
Move the 2 cup flattened rice into a different bowl, sprinkle some water and mix
Don't soak the flattened rice in water
This water is to help the jaggery bind better with the flattened rice
Put it aside
To the coconut- jaggery mixture, add cardamom powder for flavor, fried sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon melted clarified butter and flattened rice
Mix with hand
Garnish with dry fruits and freshly grated coconut.
Sweet Poha is ready to serve!
