How to make Chicken Curry Recipe in Andhra Style.
Firstly, we have to marinate the chicken
Here I used 1 kg chicken
To cleaned chicken, add 1/2 cup curd, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix
Let it sit for 30 minutes atleast
Lets prepare the masala for chicken
To a mixie jar, add 2 teaspoons khas khas,2 teaspoons coriander seeds, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 10 cloves, 5 cardamom, 3-4 cinnamon stick pieces, 2-3 star anise pieces and powder them
Masala is ready
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in pan
Add 2 chopped onions and close lid
Cook till onions turn transparent
Now add 3 green chillies and mix
Then add the marinated chicken and mix
Close lid and cook on high flame till water starts to seep out of the chicken
After the chicken cooks for 5-6 minutes, add 2 teaspoons chilli powder, 1 teaspoon salt and mix
Add the prepared masala powder and mix
Mix and add 1/2 cup water
Close lid and cook for 2 minutes on high flame
Add some coriander leaves and curry leaves and mix
Cook till required consitency of gravy is obtained
Serve with rice or roti!
