Ingredients

  • 3-4 pcs Guava Leaves
  • 3-4 pcs Carom Leaves / Ajwain
  • 3-4 pcs Basil Leaves
  • 3-4 pcs Garlic
  • 1-2 pcs Star Anise
  • Cinnamon
  • Ginger
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds

Immunity Booster Recipe

Today's recipe is also an immunity booster , like yesterdays recipe was an immunity

booster and base for Green Tea.
This recipe helps us in improving our Resistance Power.
Intake of this drink daily helps us to fight any kind of bacterial and viral infections.

Take 1/2 a liter water in bowl and heat it.
Now will add Guava leaves to it , which is high in Vitamin-c.
Guava leaves acts as anti-bacterial and anti-viral agent.
Add Carom/Ajwain leaves , this helps us in digestion and good for diabetic patients.
If Carom / Ajwain leaves are not available , we can replace them with the seeds.
Carom/Ajwain seeds should be coarsely ground.
Now will add a teaspoon of coarsely ground cumin seeds to the boiling water.
Cumin seeds helps us in digestion and also controls or regulates high BP .
It also helps in blood circulation to the heart.
Then will add Star Anise coarsely ground , this acts as anti-viral agent.
Now will add coarsely ground ginger , as it has got many medicinal values.
Ginger helps us in fast digestion and it also has micro-nutrients in it.
Keep boiling the mixture , meanwhile will add Basil leaves
Basil leaves adds flavor to the drink , which is beneficial for our health.
As is as got medicinal values , basil leaves are used in curing many diseases.
This is generally used for treating indigestion , breathing / asthma .
Now will add coarsely chopped 3 to 4 Garlic cloves , while boiling.
We can add it to the drink after straining it , Here I am adding to the boiling mixture only.
Garlic is also good for our health , it helps us to speed up our immune system.
It has got anti-oxidants in large quantity , antioxidants are referred as super foods.
Will add amla/Indian Gooseberry (Usurikaya) , which high vitamin-c properties in it.
I am not using it here , as it wasn't available in the market.
Lemon grass which is optional can also be added.
Strain the thoroughly boiled mixture and store it.
We can have the drink now and then in a small quantity the entire day
Have the drink when it is Luke warm , 3 cups thrice a day.
Add some Honey or Lime if you wish to.
