GREEN TEA BASE

Let's see how to make a tea base that is a great immunity booster

Taking tea with this water will increase our resistance power
Let's prepare the base for green tea now
Any tea like green tea, lemon tea, etc could be made with this water

Here I took about an inch of cleaned and washed ginger. Ginger is a great anti-viral and antibiotic.
Next is the ajowan leaf. If ajowan leaf isn't available, just use crushed ajowan
These are guava leaves and star anise. Star anise - this flower shaped spice is very healthy to consume and is a very good anti-viral
Here I couldn't find amla, since all the markets are closed. You could add crushed amla or just add some lemon juice

Heat 1/2 litre water in a bowl
As water gets to boil, add the guava leaf first and then add ajowan leaf
Here I took 3 ajowan leaves. The quantity used is upto you
Let the water boil.
Now add coarsely ground ginger piece, star anise and boil for 8-10 minutes
Also add amla here if it is available for you
After boiling it for 8-10 minutes, strain the water into a jug/ glass
This water can be consumed as it is or with some honey. Or else this could be used as a base to make any tea like green tea or lemon tea
This tea base could be stored in the fridge for upto 2 days, but make sure to heat it before drinking the tea

Let's see how to make green tea with this baseTo a pan, add this prepared tea base
For 1 cup tea, add 1 cup tea. Add some green tea leaves and simmer for 2-3 minutes
Now, strain the tea. Add honey.
Green tea with an added immunity booster is ready to serve
