Potato Bread Sandwich – Aloo Bread Sandwich

Knock-up with a fast breakfast recipe that is potato bread sandwich. It is so good to make it even on a busy weekday. Can be toasted on the pan or grilled and even toasted in the toaster. It can be a great Breakfast, Brunch, Snack, or a meal too. Can be served with any ketchup, soups, Chutneys, and, Sauce.

  • 5 to 6 slices Bread
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 4 Cubes Cheese Grated
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Potatoes Boiled
  • 2 Onions Finely Chopped
  • 2 Numbers Green Chilies Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Green Peas Boiled
  • 1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Chat Powder


  1.  Firstly will prepare the stuffing for the toast or for bread slices.

  2. Will take 3 boiled potatoes, peel it off either grate it or mash it.

  3. Take the mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl will add 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onions.

  4. Then will add 2 finely chopped green chilies and will add ¼ cup of boiled green peas.

  5. And then will add ¼ cup of coriander leaves, then will add ¼ teaspoon of chili powder.

  6. Will add salt as needed and then will add ½ a teaspoon of coriander powder.

  7. Now, will add ¼ teaspoon of cumin powder and ¼ a teaspoon of turmeric powder.

  8. Then will add ¼ teaspoon of chat masala and mix them all for stuffing.

  9. All the ingredients used in stuffing can be added or lessen it as per our tastes.

  10. Now will take a bread slice cut into a round shape with the help of a small bowl.

  11. Just roll it with a rolling pin once and spread the stuffing which we have prepared.

  12.   On top of the stuffing will spread the gratedcheese, will roast it now and cover it with another slice and press the edgesones, to avoid leakage of stuffing

  13. Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil,any oil of your choice can be used.

  14.  Roast them on either side till brownflipping it slowly, on the low flame.

  15. Now the same way will toast it on the grilltoaster.

  16. Take 2 slices of bread cut off the edges andspread the stuffing along with the grated cheese.

  17.   Just bind the slices on the edges and brush itwith some butter before we toast them.

  18. Place them on the toaster for 2 to 3 minutes,will just check it in between, and serve it hot if it’s done.
