Cut off the brown edges of bread pieces and cut them into triangles as shown. They could be cut into any desired shape. Heat oil necessary for deep fry and fry the bread pieces on low flame till they become crispy and brown on both sides as shown. To a bowl, add 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Mix till the sugar dissolves and let it boil on medium flame. Boil the sugar water until half thread consistency is obtained as shown and cut off the stove. Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix. Dip the fried pieces one by one and put them on a plate. Garnish with nuts like cashew nuts, pista, and badam.
