Kebabs are tender cooked pieces of Chicken marinated in Yogurt and spiced up with spices.
Generally, Tikka Kebabs are marinated Meat, Chicken, or Seafood grilled on Skewers with Veggies and fruits, then cooked on the grill or open fire. Tasty recipe, a great appetizer, and a flavourful delicacy.
In a mixing bowl take 300 Grams Chicken breast pieces, add 1 teaspoon of Salt.
Then, will add 1 teaspoon of Red Chili Powder, 1teaspoon of Ginger Garlic Paste, ¼ teaspoon of Chat Masala, and, 1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice.
Mix them all and let it rest for 15 to 20 Minutes.
After 20 Minutes will go ahead with the 2nd step of marinating the chicken.
Add 2 tablespoons of thick Curd, ½ teaspoon ofRed Chili Powder, ½ teaspoon of Salt.
Then, will add ½ teaspoon of Coriander Powder, ¼teaspoon of Chat Masala, and ½ teaspoon of Tandoori Masala.
And¼ teaspoon of Turmeric Powder, ¼ Teaspoon of Garam Masala, and ½ teaspoon of Ginger Garlic Paste.
Mix them well.
Add 2 tablespoon of Mustard Oil, it adds flavour to the Tikka Kebabs. If Mustardoil is not available any oil of your choice can be added.
Mix it thoroughly. Add diced Onions andCapsicum. (Optional)
Marinate it for 1 to 2 hours. I have marinated it for 2 hours.
Will grill it on wooden skewers. You can thread them on metal skewers also.
I have soaked skewers in water for 20 Minutes.
Now, thread all the Tikkas accordingly with Onions and Capsicums.
Butter or oil can be used for greasing.
Flip turn the Tikkas and let them be cooked on either side too on medium flame.
Brush them with oil or butter if you wish to.
Now, when the Tikkas are cooked well, the smoky flavour will char them on direct flame.
Char them on the direct flame on either side.
Yummiliciuos Chicken Tikka Kebabs are ready.
