Oats Idli
Instant Oats Idli Mix recipe is a simple and quick mix for instant Idlies, Soft, and Fluffy. Whenever we prefer to have Idli or dosa and the batter is not ready go for this mix. Instant Idlies are ready healthy and a quick one to make without any fermentation.
- 1 Cup Oats
- 1/2 Cup Rava (Upma Rava/ Semolina)
- 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger finely chopped
- 2 No's Green Chilies finely chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Capsicum finely chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Coriander Leaves finely chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Carrot finely chopped
- Water as required

Initially, dry roast 1 Cup of Oats till crisp on Low Flame, and let it cool down for a while.

Dry roast ½ Cup Upma Rava (Semolina) on low flame for 5 Minutes.

Now, will grind the roasted Oats coarsely in a mixie jar.

In a mixing bowl mix ground Oats and roasted Rava, add ¾ Teaspoon of Salt or as needed.

Then, will add ½ a teaspoon of Baking Soda, 1Teaspoon of Cumin Seeds and mix them all.

And then, will add 1 Teaspoon of finely chopped Ginger, 2 finely chopped Green Chilies, 2 Tablespoons of Capsicum, CorianderLeaves and Carrot Grate each.

Any veggies of our choice can be added.

Mix them well, and add ½ a Cup of Curd and Mix them all.

Add the required amount of Water to make it into a thick batter.

Let it set for 15 to 20 Minutes.

Mix the batter well and grease the Idli moulds and pour the batter into them.

Add a Glass of Water to the Steamer or Idli Cooker and place the Mold stand.

Cook them for 5 Minutes on High Flame and lower the flame and let cook them for 7 to 8 Minutes.

Put off the flame let it rest for 5 Minutes.

Instant Oats Idlies are ready can be eaten just like that or with some Chutney or Sauce of Our Choice.
