How to make Aloo Gobi Masala Curry in Telugu | Cauliflower and Potato Curry
Recipe Notes

INGREDIENTS
1. Potatoes - 2 Cups
2. Cauliflower - 2 Cups
3. Tomato Paste - Paste of 3 Tomatoes
4. Onions - 1/2 Cup
5. Green Chillies - 2
6. Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
7. Salt - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
8. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Teaspoon
9. Coriander Seeds Powder - 1 Teaspoon
10. Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
11. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
12. Garam Masala Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon

 

Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan.

Add 2 cups chopped potatoes and fry.

Close lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

Add 2 cups chopped cauliflower and fry.

Close lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

Move these fried items into a plate.

To the same pan add 1 tablespoons oil.

Add 1/2 cup onions and fry.

As onions become transparent,

add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,

1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute.

Add 2 chopped green chillies.

Add tomato paste, close the lid and cook till oil seeps out of the tomato paste.

Add 1 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder,

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste and mix.

Add 1 1/2 cup water.

As water starts to boil, add fried potatoes, cauliflower and mix.

Close lid and cook for 10 minutes.

Cook till gravy thickens.

After gravy thickens, add 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder and mix.

Sprinkle coriander leaves and mix.
