- 3 nos Apples
- 1 Cup Bombay Rava
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Clarified Butter (Ghee)
- 1/2 Cup Dry Fruits
- 1/2 Tablespoon Cardamom Powder
Peel the apples and cut them into pieces
Grind the apple pieces into a soft paste
Heat 2 tablespoons clarified butter (ghee) in a pan
Fry the dry fruits
Here I'm frying cashew nuts
Fry till they change colour and add raisins
Move them into a different plate
In the same pan, add bombay rav and fry till it changes colour
Add 3/4 cup sugar and mix
Stir for a minute till sugar and bombay rava mix properly
Add the apple paste and stir
Fry for a couple of minutes
Add cardamom powder and mix
We can see that the halwa is getting separated fro the pan and becoming thick
Halwa is ready now
Add previously fried dry fruits and mix
Serve!
