Best Indian Healthy Baby Food Recipes for 6 to 12 Months Babys
- 1/2 Potato
- 2-3 Beans

Some kid's might have an allergy to certain vegetables like tomato and beans
Feed in very small quantity and test first before making this recipe
MIXED VEG BABY FOOD
This could be fed to 6-12 months babies
Let's steam them now
Add water to a pressure cooker
Place a bowl with holes in it on top
Add the chopped vegetables to the bowl
This process will preserve the vitamins and nutrients of the vegetables
Close lid and cook
Poke with a fork and test if the vegetables have been cooked completely
Remove the tomato peel and use it
Add the vegetables to the blender and grind it
Add 1-2 teaspoons water if desired
Add more water if you want the paste to have a loose consistency
You could add salt also for taste
GREEN GRAM, RICE FOOD
It would be better of you use a smaller separate cooker for kids
Add the rice and green gram to the pressure cooker and wash it 2-3 times
Add 200 ml water
It would be better if the rice and green gram are soaked for 1/2 hour
Cook on low flame for 3 whistles
Open lid after it cools down
Mash the rice and green gram
It could be mashed in a mixer or with hand
This could be fed to 8-12 months babies
Add a pinch of salt, a bit of clarified butter (ghee)
Feed when warm
Add a little water if it seems too thick
VEGETABLE KICHIDI
Wash rice and green gram 2-3 times
Soaking for 1/2 hour would be preferred but not necessary
To a cooker add washed rice and green gram
Add 20 ml water, cumin seeds, 1 chopped carrot, chopped potato and close the lid
Cook on low flame for 3-4 whistles
Open lid after it cools down
Mash them
It could be mashed in a mixer or with hand
Add a pinch of salt with a bit of clarified butter (ghee) if desired
This could be fed to 8-12 months babies
BREAKFAST FOR 1 YEAR BABIES
This breakfast is made with flattened rice
Flattened rice has more nutrients than normal rice
Feeding the baby flattened rice in any form would be beneficial
We need to fry the flattened rice first
Fry till they turn crispy and change colour lightly
Cut off the stove and let them cool down
Grind coarsely
This powder could be used for 10-15 days
