This video explains the process of preparing Bendakaya (Lady's Finger) Fry in Telugu. This dish tastes good with Rice,Chapati & Roti.
- 500 gms Ladyfingers
- 2 Tablespoons Groundnuts
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 8 Green Chillies
- 8 Garlic Cloves
- 2 Teaspoons Bengal Gram
- 2 Teaspoons Black Gram
- 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 Cup Curry Leaves
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Fry 2 tablespoons groundnuts in it till they give out a nice aroma. Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 2 teaspoons bengal gram, 2 teaspoons black gram and fry. Add chopped green chillies and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add curry leaves, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix. Add diced ladyfingers and mix. Cook for 5 minutes. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix. Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Before 2 minutes of cutting off the stove grind garlic cloves coarsely and mix. Cut off the stove after 2 minutes. Add 2-3 drops of lemon juice if the pieces become too sticky.
