Cabbage Idli | Healthy Breakfast Recipe
cabbages are good for health . everyday normally starts with breakfast try different with healthy cabbage idli , cabbage idli recipe it is easy to prepare by Hyderabadi Ruchulu.
INGREDIENTS
1. Idly Batter
2. Cabbage
3. Black Gram – 1 teaspoon
4. Bengal Gram – 1 teaspoon
5. Mustard Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
6. Cumin Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
7. Onions – 1
8. Green Chillies – 2
9. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
10. Ginger Garlic Paste – 1/2 teaspoon

Kids usually don’t like cabbage
Let’s see how to make cabbage idly without letting the cabbage flavour be too dominant
We will need normal idly batter for this recipe
Finely chop/grate the cabbage
Firstly, let’s fry the cabbage a little
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan
Add 1 teaspoon black gram, 1 teaspoon bengal gram and fry
As the grams stat to change colour a little, add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry
Add chopped onions and mix
Close lid and fry for a minute
Add 2 chopped green chillies and fry for a minute
Then Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and mix
Add grated cabbage and mix
Close lid and fry for 5 minutes
Add 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds powder and fry for a minute
Sprinkle coriander leaves and cut off the stove after a minute
Add this prepared curry to the idly batter and let it sit for 5-6 minutes
Mix once again and add this batter to the idly plates
Spread oil on the idly plates so that the idlis are easy to remove
These idlis are to be cooked/steamed like normal idlis
Here I used a cooker
Pour 2 glasses of water to the cooker, place the idli plat and seal the lid without the whistle
Cook on 10 minutes for high flame and 5 minutes on low flame
Open the lid after 5 minutes and serve hot!
