Capsicum Bajji

Ingredients
1. Capsicum
2. Bengal Gram Flour – 1 Cup
3. Rice flour – 2 tea spoon
4. Salt – 1 tea spoon
5. Chilli powder – 1 tea spoon
6. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
7. Ajowan – 1/4 tea spoon
8. Cumin seeds – 1/4 tea spoon
Let’s see how to make Capsicum Bajji
This capsicum bajji is very tasty and very healthy to eat
Here I took 4 capsicum
If the capsicum are small then they can used to make bonda as it is or else they have to be cut in half before making the bondas
Remove the excess seeds
Let’s prepare the batter now
Take 1 cup Bengal gram flour in a bowl
Then add 2 tablespoons rice flour for crispness, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, coarsely ground 1/4 teaspoon ajowan and 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and mix
Now add water and mix it into a lumpless loose batter
Batter for bajji is ready now
Let’s prepare the stuffing now
Add chopped onions to a bowl, 2-3 tablespoons grated carrots, coriander leaves, 1/4 teaspoon salt, pepper powder and lemon juice
Mix it
Stuffing is also ready now. Put it aside for later.
Heat oil for deep fry
To the prepared batter add a pinch of baking soda. Dip a capsicum piece in the batter
See that the batter sticks to the capsicum piece. If the batter us too loose, it won’t stick to the capsicum
If the batter is too thick, the bajji will become very thick and won’t taste good
Fry the dipped capsicum pieces one by one in the oil on medium flame
Flip and fry till they turn golden brown
Capsicum bajji is ready now
Let’s stuff the prepared stuffing in it
Take a fried bajji and make a cut in it
Stuff the prepared bajjis and serve hot
