How to Make Healthy Recipes at Home

Preparation of Tasty Chennangi Aaku Pachadi

  • Lets see how to make chutney with negro coffee leaves
  • This chutney is very tasty and loaded with vitamins and nutrients
  • Separate the leaves from the stem and wash the leaves
  • Here I took 10-12 dried chillies
  • Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan
  • Add 2 tablespoons coriander seeds and fry
  • Then add 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry
  • Add dried chillies and fry till they change colour
  • Add 2 tablespoons sesame seeds and fry
  • Now add 7-8 garlic cloves and cut off the stove
  • Move all these ingredients into a plate and let them cool down
  • Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan
  • Add the cleaned negro coffee leaves and fry
  • These leaves are rich in calcium and iron
  • Fry till the raw smell goes away and cut off the stove
  • Add all these ingredients to a mixie jar along with 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, 10 grams soaked tamarind and powder them
  • Now add the fried leaves along with some water and grind it into a paste

Preparation of Tempering for the chutney

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan
  • Add 1 teaspoon black gram, 1 teaspoon bengal gram and fry till they change colour
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry
  • Now add dried chilli pieces and fry
  • Then add 1/2 cup curry leaves and fry
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix
  • Now add the prepared chutney and mix
  • Negro coffee chutney is ready to serve!
