Preparation Of Chikkudukaya Vepudu
- 1/2 kg Broad Beans
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 4-5 pcs Garlic Cloves
- 2 pcs Dried Chillies
- Curry Leaves
- 4 pcs Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
CHIKKUDUKAYA FRY
Chop 1/2 kg broad beans, boil them for 10 minutes and drain off the water
HEat 1 tablespoo oil in pan
Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry
Add coarsely ground garlic cloves and fry
Then add 2 dried chillies and fry till they change colour
Now add curry leaves, cooked braod beans and fry
Add 4 chopped green chillies and fry
Close lid and cook on low flame for 2 minutes
Then add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix
Close lid and cook for 5 minutes
Stir and cook
Add 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds powder and mix
Broad beans fry is ready to serve!
Serve with rice or roti
