Making of Chikkudukaya Tomato Curry in Telugu
Preparation of Chikkudukaya Tomato Curry Recipe. Simple board Beams Tomato Curry Recipe
- 1/4 kg Broad Bean
- 3 pcs Tomatoes
- 1 pcs Onions
- 2 pcs Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
- 2 tsp Sesame Seeds Powder
CHIKKUDUKAYA TOMATO CURRY
Remove the veins of the broad beans, seperate the seeds and chop them
Boil the chopped broad beans in 1/2 cup water
Boiling for 5-6 minutes would be enough
Drain off the water
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan
Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, chopped onions and fry till they turn transparent
Add chopped green chillies and fry
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and fry
Fry for a minute and add boiled broad beans
Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes
Add diced tomatoes and fry till they become soft
Close lid and cook
Add 1 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, salt to taste, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 2 teaspoon sesame seeds powder and mix
Add 1/2 cup water for gravy
Close lid and cook on low flame for 10 minutes
Sprinkle coriander leaves
Serve hot with rice or roti
