INGREDIENTS
1. Full Fish - 1
2. Green Chillies - 7-8
3. Mint Leaves - 1/2 Cup
4. Coriander Leaves - 1/2 Cup
5. Ginger - Small Piece
6. Garlic Cloves - 7-8
7. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
8. Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
9. Cloves - 4
10. Salt - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
11. Lemon Juice - 1 Tablespoon
Prepare masala first. To a mixie jar, add 7-8 green chillies, 1/2 cup coriander leaves, 1/2 cup mint leaves, 2-3 small ginger pieces, 8 garlic cloves, 4 cloves, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and grind it into a soft paste. Water can be added. Put this green masala paste in a bowl. Here I took cleaned 1 kg fish. Make cuts into the fish as shown. Making these cuts will make the masala seep into the fish properly. Apply prepared green masala paste to the fish. Fill masala in the cuts also. Be careful with the bones in the fish while applying masala paste. Apply masala on both sides and marinate for 1/2 hour. The longer it is marinated, the tastier the fish will be. Put the marinated fish in the fridge. Take a wide pan and heat it. Add 3 tablespoons oil. Place the marinated fish carefully on the pan. Fry the fish on low flame or else the fish won't cook fully on the inside and it will turn brown on the outside. Flip after 2-3 minutes with the help of 2 spoons. Flip after every 2-3 minutes and cook fish on both sides. This fish will take 15-20 minutes to cook. Fry till fish turns brown.
