These Easy Onion Rings are double dipped in a batter that is seasoned to perfection. The crust is crisp and the onions are tender and sweet.
- 2 Onions
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour
- 2 tbsp Bread Crumbs
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
- 1/4 tsp Sodium Bi Carbonate
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1/2 cup Curd
Peel and cut onions into rings.
To a bowl,
add 1 cup wheat flour, 2 tablespoons corn flour, 1/4 teaspoon sodium bi carbonate,
1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste,
1/2 teaspoon coriander seed powder and 2 tablespoons bread crumbs(dry and grind bread pieces) for binding.
Mix it.
And add 1/2 cup curd with water slowly.
Keep mixing till the required consistency is obtained.
Heat oil for deep fry.
Dip the rings in the batter
Fry them in oil on medium flame.
Fry them for 2-3 minutes and flip them.
Fry till they become light brown.
Serve hot with favourite chutney or sauce.
