Radish Paratha

1. Radish

2. Wheat Flour – 1 cup

3. Bengal Gram Flour – 2 tablespoons

4. Chilli Powder – 1/2 teaspoon

5. Coriander Seeds Powder – 1/2 teaspoon

6. Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

7. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon

8. Ginger Garlic Paste – 1/2 teaspoon

9. Cumin Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon

10. Ajowan – 1/4 teaspoon

11. Green Chillies – 2

12. Coriander Leaves


Recipe Notes for Radish Paratha

Let’s see how to make a healthy radish paratha

Usually radish isn’t liked very much because of it’s smell. These parathas won’t have that problem

Firstly wash and grate the radish

It could ground into a paste too

To a bowl, add 1 cup wheat flour along with 2 tablespoons bengal gram flour, 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/4 teaspoon ajowan, 2 chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and ix

Then add grated radish and Mix it

Add a little water and knead it into a dough

Add 1 teaspoon oil and knead it again

Close lid and let it sit for 10-15 minutes

Knead it again and roll small balls out of it

Press it and roll it in dry flour

Press it into a chepathi

We need to cook this now

Heat pan

Place the paratha on the pan and cook for a minute

Flip and spread oil or clarified butter(ghee) on top

Flip again and do the same

Press it a little and cook till brown spots form on both sides

Serve hot with favourite chutney or curry!
