Shankarpali
Shaker Para or Shankarpali a popular Indian snack recipe, a bite-sized snack.
Kids love it to the core. An irresistible sweet at home without putting in many efforts.
A crunchy snack a must for festivals like Holi and Diwali, especially and made for kids as evening or short break snacks in schools.
- 2 Cups White Flour all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 Cup Water
 - 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
 - 1/2 cup Ghee
 - a Pinch Baking Soda
 - Oil for deep frying

In a mixing bowl take ½ cup of water.
 - 
										
Add the powdered sugar and mix it well.
 - 
										
Add ½ cup melted ghee in it.
 - 
										
Add ½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder to it.
 - 
										
Add the white flour to this water mixture.
 - 
										
Add a pinch of baking soda.
 - 
										
Adding it slowly stirring it constantly, bind it into a dough.
 - 
										
Knead it with for a while and place it aside.
 - 
										
Let it rest for 15 to 20 Minutes.
 - 
										
Knead it once and roll the dough into a roti.
 - 
										
Cut off the uneven edges and cut them into the required shapes.
 - 
										
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying them.
 - 
										
Put the dough molds in the oil, deep fry them on medium flame.
 - 
										
Fry them till golden brown, place them in a bowl.
 - 
										
After done with the frying let them cool and store them in an airtight container.
 - 
										
These shaker paras can be stored for 15 to 20days, they remain fresh.
 - 
										
Tasty crunchy bite-sized snack is ready.
